Pours amber with a thick white head. Pleasant aroma of wheat and malt. Taste is similarly sweet with a strong malt body and an earthy palate. Palate also includes resinous hops. Really good ale. Floral.

Draft taster at the source. Deeper hazy golden/ yellow. Aroma has pineapple, mango, and some light grass.

Flavor has a light fruit, grass notes, and a shade of pine in the finish. If has a soft mouth but it did show the alcohol. Bitterness as it should be but as it warms the ABV really comes forward.

Sampled on draft at the Brew Pub. Deep brown in color. Bolder bready character with strong earthy malts, hint of cocoa and lager yeast. Sweetness balance by some spicy hop bitterness. The body is decent for a lager but leans on the lighter side of the spectrum. Pretty well done.

Draft taster at the source. Clear Amber appearance with little retention. Aroma is toffee, toasted grains and a mild yeast hint. This brew is lighter bodied. Malt dominates as expected. About what you would expect.

Draft taster at the source. Bright hazy yellow, normal carbonation. Aroma has citrus, orange, lemon, pineapple.

Flavor has a lot more juice than I was expecting. This is much easier to drink than the Nifty Blazer from this brewer. This brew has a soft mouthfeel and low ABV. This is the best brew I have ever had from City Steam to date.

Sample at the source. A clear IPA!!!! Aroma is nice citrus, light pine, mild herbal. The flavor is a reflection. Good amount of citrus that eases the pine and herbal hints. Normal level of bitterness for the style. Nice drinker.

Can drunk 8/5/18.
Moderately hazy, lemon-yellow-golden. White head is thin but large, receding quickly to cover.
In the nose it's juicy with tons of nectarine, papaya, pineapple and light mango. Some light pine and grapefruit sits on the end, adding a bit more heft to the nose while fruity, bubble gum-filled yeast and lots of biscuity malts sit behind the hops. No alcohol, resin or flaw.
In the mouth there's a bit of butter noted right away, which is a shame because this is soft, dry, supple and juicy with huge yellow fruit notes of apple, mango, ripe nectarine and light pineapple. Light lime-pine on the end counteracts the heavy bubble gum yeast and the carbonation is quite low but mostly engaging. No resin, flaw or alcohol, other than the moderate diacetyl. Quite nice and I really like the relatively low abv and big flavors. As my friend mentioned and not surprisingly, it was much better on draught. The diacetyl must have developed in the canning process.

On tap at City Steam Brewery Cafe, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a medium tan head. Nose brings out toasted malt and light caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with robust roast, and toasted malt. Toasty and dry, with a nice depth. Good stuff.
