On tap at City Steam Brewery Cafe, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, with a little pine, and caramel malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with resinous hops, caramel malt and light pine. Not the most well-balanced IIPA but it works. Decent.

On tap at City Steam Brewery Cafe, pours a hazy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out crisp piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour reveals crisp piney hops and a very crisp biscuity malt base. Crisp and piney - this is great.

On tap at City Steam Brewery Cafe, pours an opaque cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of resinous hops, with pithy notes and bready malt. Flavour is rather yeasty and soapy, with light stone fruits, soapy hops and some cleaner. Too soapy and yeasty. Not totally on point.

On tap at City Steam Brewery Cafe, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp grassy notes, with crackery and herbal characters. Flavour is highly hopped, with lots of grassy hops and crisp biscuity malt. Bit of a herbal character. Very nice hopping on this, elevating this beyond what most helles's are like. Good stuff.

On tap-lt brown-black. A-roasty/cocoa-med/dk malt, some citrus. T-follows. Nice, and no ashy. Sam is doing a great job at the brewhouse, Ron should be glad a solid replacement has come in after his many years of solid craftsmanship.
