Sample at City Steam. Slightly hazy gold, light lacing. Aroma is mild grassy and citrus hops. The flavor is a tad bolder then I was guessing. Notes of tropical fruit and plenty of lingering grassy bitterness. Dry and grassy texture. Lots of flavor for a light session IPA

Bottle. Aroma is bready malt with slight fruitiness. Appearance is cloudy orange with negligible white head and minimal lacing. Taste is moderately sweet maltiness with hints of fruit. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture and lively late carbonation that bites the tip of the tongue. Finish is mildly bitter and long.

750 ml bottle purchased at the brew pub for about $10.00. Spilt 3 ways. Amber color with thin spotty head. Aroma is light oak, hints of vanilla and a light "butter" sweetness.
The flavor is a carbon copy of what I get in the nose. Body is medium with a buttery flavor in that gives a slightly off character. Alcohol is nicely hidden and is indeed drinkable but nothing to go out of your way for.

Draft at the brew pub 1/09/2014. Mostly hazy gold color with lasting head retention. Aroma of grassy / citrus hops with cereal grain.
Taste of nice rounded juicy citrus hops upfront. Through the center is lager yeast with cereal grain and mild pale malts. The finish is crisp and nicely refreshing. I sample this without knowing it was a lager. It fooled me into believing it was a IPA. Worthy of a growler fill and certainly worth a pint.

Draft at the brew pub 1/09/2014. Deep brown with ruby highlights. Aroma is dark grain, mild chocolate and plenty of cinnamon. Reminds me of a Christmas cookie.
Flavor is a carbon copy of the aroma with lots of cinnamon and sugar in the finish. The chocolate malt helps cut the spice but after 6 oz.of it, I don’t think I could drink anymore. Nice dessert beer and worth a try if you enjoy spiced brews.

Draft at the source, 1/09/2014. Light amber color with lasting head retention. Aroma is a botanical garden, abundance of flowers nothing but a tom of flowers. Flavor is like drinking old ladys perfume with a very subdued hint of peat.only got the peat in the last half oz. Heather flower... A lot of heather flower. Not my thing.
