Draft. Deep brown body approaching black. Huge beige head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of roasted malt, wood, bourbon, molasses. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture turning sticky in the finish, soft carbonation. Distinct taste of oak, roast, banana, bourbon. Tart finish. It’s great that the bourbon compliments the beer instead of dominating it.

Can. Sour malt aroma. Hazy amber with a small ivory head. Sour/lactic malt flavor with some light bitterness. Light body, lively spritzy carbonation. Not like any marzen I’ve ever tried, but not bad.

Can. Light lactic caramel malt aroma. Hazy amber with large head. Lightly sweet caramel malt flavor with a light lactic finish. Not bad - would have liked a stronger malt presence.

tap at Brewhaven festival - Pours dark brown and has a very mild chocolate malt aroma. The flavor is sweet with a bit of chocolate. It’s thin bodied. I’m wondering where the coconut is and why there’s some band aid character present. Not very good.

Can. Brown body with garnet highlights. Fizzy, beige head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of roasted malts, raw grain, grass, canned vegetables. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter, a bitterness that lasts into the finish. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The aroma is better than the flavor which is mostly the taste of roasted malts with a hint of canned corn. Thin, simple beer. Bitter in the finish and not much else. Just OK.
