A very dark brown beer with a small beige head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, strong malt, coffee, liquorice. Taste of mid sweet strong dark malt, chocolate, coffee, some liquorice.

330ml can. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with averagecreamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Citrusy fruity, minimally bready, wheaty malty, minimaly yeasty fruity and minimally sugary aroma, notes of lemon, lemon peel, candied lemon peel, limoncello, lemon drops, whiffs of honey, brown sugar, rock sugar, banana undertones. Taste is minimally sugary sweet, pale and wheaty malty, citrusy fruity and minimally zesty bitter, hoppy, minimally yeasty fruity, notes of lemon drops, limoncello, lemon peel, banana and baked banana undertones, a touch of honey sweetness.
Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation.
Very intense and condensed lemon/lemon peel flavours, harmonious and balanced - good!

Bottle at home. Jet black pour with a magnificent, beige head (oh God am I one of those people now?). Nose is fruity, licorice-like, oaky, vanilla, maybe a touch of maple? Taste is light roast, licorice, some vanilla, chocolate. Medium bodied at best with a short, dryish finish. Happens.

Bottle at home. Some nice wood and whiskey, but loads more of glue, apple skin and nail polish. Thin, and watery too.

From tap at Twentsche Foodhal, Enschede. Aroma is fruity hops with tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, lightly some pineapple, citrus, wheaty pale malt. Moderate bitter, lightly sweetish. Pretty good, fruity, tropical.
