12oz bottle pours a watery, deep brown with LOADS of foamy, off white head. Nose is well nuanced, lightly malty, lightly sweet, some mild roast, some hints of fresh brewed coffee, perhaps a little roast mushroom. Flavor follows right along, mild coffee, mild cola, a little mild molasses, some roast, some earthy notes. Thin finish. Might have needed a bit more oat to build some extra body, but certainly an easy drinker.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy reddish amber. Slightly sourish aroma with a big of vinegar, yeast, malt, caramel and some overripe fruits. Sweetish-sourish flavor with malt, yeast, graininess, some fruitiness and a bit of harsh bitterness. Medium-bodied. Seems like something went wrong here.

Location: Draft at Morrison's, 10/29/14

Aroma: Light aroma of gourd, some caramel, bready notes, and pumpkin spices
Appearance: Pours an orange-brownish color with a creamy beige had and decent lace
Flavor: Taste is similar, with pumpkin, spice, and malty flavor, spice isn't overwhelming, mildly bitter
Palate: The body is fairly light and a touch watery, but it drinks cleanly, and finishes fairly quickly
Overall Impression: This is just an okay pumpkin beer. All the requisite flavors are here, but all of them just feel a little muted. If your looking for a generic pumpkin beer, you'll be fine here, if your looking for an excellent one, you'll probably be disappointed.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks zvikar. Clear orange-amber. Aroma of stale hops, somewhat skunky. Sweetish flavor with malt, stale hops, graininess and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Seems old.

6.8/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 6
Location: Draft at Morrison's, 10/15/14

Aroma: The nose is sweet malt/caramel, earthy hops, and a drop of rubbing alcohol
Appearance: This beer pours a dark orange color, murky, with a beige head and plenty of lacing
Flavor: The taste mid-sweet, and medium-heavy bitter, with some boozy flavors as well
Palate: This brew is fairly full bodied, a little sticky, with some dryness, and a pretty hot finish
Overall Impression: This is an okay, but somewhat flawed example of the style. Drinkable, but nothing special. It's tough, but this is definitely not up to the standards of a style as stacked as this one.

7.4/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 8 Texture 6 Overall 7.5
Location: 22 oz bottle from Syosset Beverage, 10/14/14

Aroma: The nose is earthy hops, plenty pine, some spice notes, cracker, and a touch of citrus
Appearance: It pours a dark orange-brown color with a thick, frothy beige head and strong lacing
Flavor: The spice comes out more in the flavor, mildly sweet, with a mid-heavy hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, with lively carbonation, and a lengthy, dry finish on the mouth
Overall Impression: I thought this was a solid one. The aroma lets off more of an earthy and pine hop profile, but the flavor is really dominated by the spicy hops. Either way, it is a pretty solid, interesting beer.

12oz bottle pours a clear orange with some sudsy white head. Nose has some dried grasses, some stale malt, the spices are there but not overwhelming, some brown sugar notes too. Flavor is well balanced, some root veg, light sweet potato, some mild brown sugar, clove, dried ginger, a little all spice. Clean finish. What you’d expect.

6.9/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 6 Texture 8 Overall 6.5
Location: Draft at Morrison's, 9/22/14

Aroma: It has a light and herbal aroma, some grassy notes, hints of spice
Appearance: It pours a clear gold color with a small white head and some plus lacing
Flavor: The flavor is clean and malty, light sweet and spice, with a lightly bitter, herbal hop finish
Palate: It has a light-medium body, clean feel, with a lightly dry and somewhat crisp finish
Overall Impression: This one is a more than solid pilsner. It is not on the top of style from a crispness perspective, but still a good feel. Good, solid beer overall.

Bottle. Pours opaque black with a small dark brown head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving decent lacing. Aroma is roasty, anise, cocoa, molasses. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, lightly burned, cocoa and roasty notes with perhaps a tiny bit of rubber. Some acidity. Medium plus body, lingering bitter and burned notes. Pretty solid effort.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Melville Superstar Beverage, 8/1/14

Aroma: The nose is malty and a little sweet, some lemony notes, and some spice
Appearance: Pours a clear orange color with a small sheet of head and light-to-medium lace
Flavor: The flavor is fairly sweet, with some light spice notes, and a very minimal bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, not watery at all, very creamy, with a soft-to-flat carbonation
Overall Impression: This is a solid, drinkable summer beer. The flavor is fine, but not a standout, but it has a nice mouthfeel. I could see drinking this again.
