Thanks kajser! Golden clear body, lively carbonation, thick white head, medium retention. Sulphury-meaty stale yeasty aroma, dry. Meaty taste, light body, lemony hoppy touch. Terrible back ground, kinda balanced out by that hoppy touch, vague bitterness, but still pretty terrible for a Czech lager.

Dark brown to black colored, medium tan creamy head. Aroma is mostly of roasted malt, even bit burnt, some chocolate, light herbal hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, mostly roasted, some brown sugar, light chocolate, some burnt notes, light to medium bitterness, light herbal hops. Medium- bodied, soft carbonation. (on tap, Eggenberg Brewery, Cesky Krumlov)

Bottle from Tesco Aroma is miles away from smoked. It’s like a dark lager, disappointment. It’s pitch black. In taste you finally MAY notice some smoke, but again, far from ideal. Boring.

Bottle. Just very slightly over euro beers. Just because of presence of some heavier malty tones. It has nothing to offer other than that, try something else.

Bottle at U Kunstatu, Praha, 13/07/17. Black with a decent light tan head. Nose is light smoke, toffee, brown bread. Taste comprises treacle toffee, mellow smoked malts, biscuit, fruit loaf, brown sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok smoked affair ... fairly mellow ... would serve as a good intro to the style.

Bottle. Meh, All-round average. Nothing extraordinary. If you avoid you won’t miss anything at all.
