Growler pours completely black with a small tan head. Aroma is very strong with prune and tobacco, oh and of course a lot of smoke all up in dat bitch. the smoke comes of very slick and greasy. Taste is again sweet, slick, greasy, bbq smoke. The "greasy" aspect of the smoke is original, never experienced that before. Its cool but just doesnβt coalesce well.

Sampler at MSP airport. The beer is clear but dark enough to make lower clarity. The aroma is dark, very woodsy, and light roast. There is some caramel sweetness as well. This caramel sweetness turns weird in the flavor, a bit vegetal and astringent in the finish, really kind of turned me off.

Sampler at MSP airport, third beer in the sampler. After the other three, I found this to be the most enjoyable for the moment and then had a shaker pour. It is a clear, more brown then red, color. It has a lightly sticky lacing. Aroma is perfect balance of hops and burnt and woodsy malt behind that, yet almost no residual sweetness, nice and clean. Taste is still hoppy (grassy and sweet hops) with loads of roast malts back there as well. Some toffee in there as well that melds perfectly as well. Comes off as fruit punch with a light caramel sweetness. Still clean and so fun and easy to drink. Came off as a lagered, clean, Irish Ale more so than a Vienna, either way I liked it a lot.

Sampler at MSP airport, second beer in the sampler and thus my second rate. It was a lightly hazy amber color. Aroma is well hopped with American hops on the sweet side of hoppiness. Taste has just a little residual sweetness from the malt, which in turn hides a little but of the hop flavor. Fresh hops in an easy drinking beer, not much more one can ask for.
