Draught at CBB. Medium gold color. Slightly funky, spicy nose, dry citrus. Dry, metallic flavor, bitter, with malt astringency. Not all that great.

4% 650 yen for a half pint at the CBB event. A cloudy gold pour with a thin white head. Very mild aroma, the flavor is bitter, some spice and then a little funk in the finish. Kind of meh, ok but not so great

Draught at 2012 GJBF Osaka. Faint, yeasty, slightly dry, fruity aroma. Very pale gold. Slightly sweet, very light, fruity. Nicely drinkable. Dry finish but not exactly hoppy. Ok.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy and thin orange-bronze color with lace. Muddy. Huge spice nose: cinnamon, ginger, like mulled wine. Not beerlike but lovely anyhow. Rather dirty flavor, muddied spice, sweet, followed by spice astringency, ginger, nice citrus. Tasty but too funky with spice bitterness.

Draught at the brewery. Shiny black with a foamy tan head. Pretty. Creamy roast nose, chocolate and cafΓ© au lait, slight fruit, including citrus. Tasty: dark chocolate, fruity tang, brown sugar, cream. Sweet but strong roasted coffee finish. Long bitter end. Light body. Good stuff.

Draught at the brewpub. Glowing gold, almost pastel, with a fine, low head. Hoppy nose, citrus mainly with grass, bread, very light chocolate and caramel. Prickly citrus hop flavor with bread and crackers. Refreshing and quite nice. Good bitterness. Hop flavor could be more focused, sharper. A but too much biscuit. Good though.

Draught at the Eni-Bru 4th Anniversary Celebration. Big ginger nose, spicy, snappy, nice. Very cloudy dark gold color. Tons of ginger in the mouthβ€”spicy and a bit hot, with some lemon, metal, and light malt. A bit sweet, but not bad. Nice.

Lots of roasted coffee notes with dark chocolate and some molasses in the nose. Lighter than expected body with the roastiness continuing. Moderately bitter finish. Almost a session Impy, if there was such thing. Enjoyable.
