On tap at Beer House, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts, some sourness and toasted malt. Flavour is a touch tart, with toasted malt, a nice nuttiness and earthy crusty bread. Lacking body, but it's not bad at all. Solid.

On tap at Beer House, pours a clear pale yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out straw and light grains. Flavour is clean and rather lifeless, with straw and a touch of graininess. A little vegetal character. Typical macro lager.

On tap at Beer House, pours a cloudy opaque golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out wheat and straw, little graininess. Flavour is along the same lines, with straw, light wheat and toasted grains. Dry and easy to drink. Tastes practically the same as the non-wheat version.

On tap at Beer House, pours a cloudy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out cereal grains and straw. Flavour is very clean, with lots of straw and toasted grains. Nice grittiness to this from the lack of filtration. Clean and easy to drink. Solid.

Da viele Moldawier sich als Russen sehen und auch Russisch die 2. Sprache im Land ist, gibt es auch ein, bei den Russen beliebtes, Wiener Lager. Dies ist ganz gut gelungen, schmeckt fein vollmundig, ist aber hinten nach ein bisschen zu süß. Aber auf jeden Fall viel besser als moldawisches Billigbier.

In der Hauptstadt Moldawiens gibt es eine Hausbrauerei nach amerikanischen Vorbild, das gehobene, qualitativ hochwertige Bier produziert: Das BeerHouse, kurz BH. Für, für den Normalbürger unbezahlbaren 2 €, für 0,5 l bekommt man ein gutes helles Bier, das weit über dem moldawischen Durschnitt ist und auch erprobten Hausbrauerei-Freunden schmeckt. Sollte man einmal nach Chișinău kommen, sollte man hier vorbeikommen (es gibt auch sonst kaum Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Stadt). Das filtrierte Helles ist ein typisches, volmundiges Lagerbier mit feinen Aromen. Da das Bier nicht pasteurisiert wird, kommen auch alle diese Aromen voll zur Geltung.
