750mL bottle, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of Belgian yeast and white wine barrels. Flavour is very vinous, with lots of white wine and Belgian yeast. Highly carbonated but fitting for what it is. Excellent.

Bottle at RBSG Grand Tasting. Pours a hazy gold with small white head. The aroma is funk, cheese, oak. Medium mouth, funky, oak, lemon, nice tartness, very nice.

Bottle - Lots of nice green melon and funk. Cloudy yellow with a decent white head. Tart grapefruit and a nice soured wheat. Good.

750ml bottle pours out cloudy straw topped with a long lasting white head. Nose is floral belg yeast lemongrass citrus. Taste is more of the lemongrass citrus spice and some barnyard.

Half pint at Bottleworks. Its not fair, how is this brewery able to make such a nice mild? Clear dark brown with a long lasting head that never fades. Aroma is dark woodsy malts, light diacetyl, lightly burnt brown malts (dark bread crust), no sugar and light malt sweetness. Body is soooo light yet a burst of flavor. Again, light diacetyl, black bread crust, watery buckwheat. Flavor fades, mellow carbonation. The diacetyl is perfect in this beer, the flavor is strong despite light body. This is what I want in my mild.

Half growler poured from the brewery visit earlier today. Pours a bright yellow color with next to no head. Sweet orange and lemon soda like aroma. Flavor is citrus, with subtle grassy hops. Refreshing, and crisp. Easy drinking pale. Not bad.

Enough with all these disappointing hoppy beers. Lets go BA barleywine. Dark ruby red color with small head but long lasting. Moderate lacing. Visible bubbles constantly shooting up the glass. Aroma is thankfully not alcohol and barrel, wouldn’t even know its BA. Aroma is strong cherry without astringency. Slightly alcoholic cherries, and sweet plummy malts. Lighter body surprisingly. Flavor is a bit more restrained, plummy, alcohol cherry candied flavor. Some sweet pie crust, light. Neato stuff.

Mandarina and Cascade hops with recultured Heady Topper yeast. Less than a week off the tanks, half pour at brewery. Thick straw color, can’t see through it. Soapy head, light lacing. Citrus enhanced green hops with resin and light grass. A mild muted peach yeast, maybe. Just too much grass. Flavor is same, grass and green, moderate bitterness. Meh.

I had a beautiful version of this once, just amazing tropical flavors... once. Since then I get a spicy, grassy hop character and NO tropical fruit. Fuck that, not for me. A little sweet, thick malt. Dry bitter hop finish. Poor me, why must I suffer with inconsistent or quickly degrading hop beers.

Draft 6 oz pour at the brewery. Pours a glowing copper orange color with a big bubbles head. Fresh tropical fruit aroma. Very juicy flavor with mango and tropical fruit. Maybe a little pineapple late. Tasty beer. Less obvious brett presence. Overall very nicely done. Solid.
