Description
Holy Mountain is a brewery and taproom located in the Interbay neighborhood of Seattle, founded by co-owners Colin Lenfesty and Mike Murphy in 2014. The influence of oak has always been the focus of the majority of beers brewed at Holy Mountain. A sizable building near the Seattle waterfront has allowed the team to build a vast stock of oak barrels, puncheons, and foudres used for both primary fermentation as well as long-term aging.
The proximity of the brewery to the Yakima Valley also allows the team of brewers to utilize hops from the best producers in the world, constantly exploring the relationship between hops, oak, and mixed fermentation. Holy Mountain doesn't offer any year-round beers, which creates an ever-changing lineup in the brewery taproom. In addition to oak-influenced beers, Holy Mountain also offers a wide range of rotating, hop-forward ales and lagers.

Can from Tavour: pale gold with white head. Aroma is doughy, hints of lemon. Taste is sweet, but body is not too malty. In fact it is pretty light and almost club soda like. Generally pretty good.

Aroma: mix of funk and oak with ascorbic notes.
Taste: along the same lines with good amount of ascorbic notes. Crispy.
Overall: ok, too ascorbic forward, unfortunately.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus and lychee. Med body. Bready support for a decently bitter beer. There's a tang like passion fruit. Also lime and something like lychee. Crisp for me. Very nice.

Can from Tavour. Pours translucent gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of earth and melon with a light pleasing Brett note. Med body at least. Flavor is lots of oak, a very nice amount of Brett, some earth and green melon. Fair amount of oak astringency. Very good flavor.

Teku glass at the Teku place in Seattle. Can barely read the font on these menu tvs.
Pretty medium golden brew, lingering lace.
Green citrus nose.
Grassy, citrus, medium lingering pith, long herbal draw that keeps going through the finish. Spicy green numbness & some amber maltiness on the finale.
Texture wins over flavor.
Okay+ leaning good+.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a moderate white head that didn't try very hard to persist. Aroma of dankish resin. Med plus body. Malt isn't strong enough to render this undry. Very nicely bitter. Flavor of dank resin, citrus/pine and maybe some green melon. Possibly grapefruit pith. Excellent.
