Half pour at brewery. Thick golden, no clarity, light lacing. Aroma is all hop, I guess all Amarillo, which in this case is freshly cut grass with an American bitterness bite. Flavor is all hops with moderate bitterness. I would say these are spicy but not citrus or fruit. Lightly dry bitterness lingers.

1st rater, beat you Chris. TAKE THAT! Abbey and I are out and about looking for potential places to move. We really just want to take advantage of Seattle’s views. Well we found an apartment with views of Mt Rainer all across the apartment, I mean each bedroom and living room. Oh and its right on Elliot Bay, so you have that beautiful view. Unfortunately, we found the perfect place buttttttt we can’t move for another 2 months and this place wnt sit around. The upside, the apartment is close to this brewery and I get to drink this clean and malt lager. Hope bite at end. Not quite as good as the zweikel.

Tulip at brewery. Thick dark golden color, can’t see through it. Aroma is brett- tastic (wild, faintly oily, and whatever horseblanket is) with slightly estery spikes. Flavor is less wild with more herbal brettiness and a good deal of sweetness still leftover. Slightly slick with tingly mouthfeel with a long herbal Brett aftertaste. Like the aroma much more than flavor, needs a little less sweetness but still keep the body.

Draft pour at special brews. Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with no head. Very mild grassy aroma with some sour lemon. Flavor is lighter in body with some mild lemon and orange peel. Hints of spice as well, and has a cool lemon mint finish. Tasty and very easy to drink. Enjoyable beer here.

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours black with a medium brown head. Nose is decadent, bringing out roasted malt, lactose and cocoa. Flavour follows accordingly, with rich roasted malt tempered by the lactose and chocolate. Rye doesn't seem to add much except maybe a slight earthy spiciness. Full-bodied and beautifully balanced. Excellent.

Draft - Tart, sour grapefruit and sweetness. Cloudy yellow gold with a decent white head. Pink grapefruit pith, Some grass and funk with a long bitter finish. Not bad.

[3/1/15] Draught at Holy Mountain Brewing in Seattle. Clear golden. Decent aroma of lager yeast and some herbal hops. Flavor has light maltiness, a bit of lager yeast, and nice bitterish herbal hops. Rather light-bodied.

[3/1/15] Draught at Holy Mountain Brewing in Seattle. Deep reddish brown. Aroma of wood, wine, fruitiness and some spiciness. Sweetish and slightly sourish flavor, spicy, with caramel, wine, wood and fruitiness. Medium-bodied.
