[3/1/15] Draught at Holy Mountain Brewing in Seattle. Dark brown to black. Aroma of some roast, a bit of chocolate, a nutty note. Sweetish flavor with some roast, chocolate, nuts and caramel. Rounded mouthfeel.

Draft at brewery. Pale pale yellow color. No lacing, head dies, looks dead. Coriander and lemon rind aroma. A little effervescent and tart lemon. Flavor is similar, reduced coriander, low lemon. Light tart end. Very decent wit. Not overspiced, not estry. Good stuff.

Tap at Uber Tavern, Seattle. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, hints of citrus, some sweetness and malts. Not bad.

12oz draft at Brouwer’s. Dark brown body with tight head. Mild lacing left on the glass as the beer is consumed. My biggest complaint is the cherries did not work out well in this beer. They actually cherry character is all eaten up. Leftover is a faint fruit syrup. Otherwise, there is an earthy malt character. However, there is a slightly astringent character, which I again blame on the cherries. Nicely effervescent mouthfeel despite a slightly thicker mouthfeel. Would like to try this without cherries.

Holy Zwickel!!!!!!! Cask at Toronado. Comes to me with a thick low clarity golden color. A head that stays and sticks like a sohnovabitch. The beer is a beautiful medley of orange/citrus lager floral yeastiness. So fresh and effervescent. An herbal and fruity hop bite. Dry end to the beer with lightly bitter finish. Fully and carbonated yet lightly felt mouthfeel. For 3 bucks a shaker I was hoping to have more than one (but had to drive).

Light roast. Light bitter finish. Mahogany pour with ok head and lacing. Some light coffee in this as well. Thanks to luttonm at Brony tasting.
