Tap at the brewery taproom in Philadelphia PA. A clear reddy copper coloured pour with a halo of beige head. Semi sweet, figgy pud, brown sugars, cakey malts mild booze. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, chewy hop cakey, malts, prune fig, lihjt bark. Palate is semi sweet chewy moderate carbonation. Good.

Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty roast, mineral, chalky, raw coffee woody. Palate is semi sweet, tangy thin, chalky, highish carbonation. Ok. Lingering mint choc.

16 ounce can. January 2023 release. Jet black pour. Large, dense, creamy tan head. Dark malt aroma hints at charred wood. Big roasted malt flavor. Intensely bitter and dry. Notes of bittersweet chocolate, black currants and crushed black pepper.

750ml bottle pours out hazy golden topped with a fizzy white head. Nose is boiled vegetables old cardboard. Taste is more of the cardboard some spice.

Can thanks to wombat23. Dark brown with a creamy, beige head that lingers. Aroma of dark chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel. Taste goes in a different direction, full of roasted grain bitterness and raw cacao. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. A good one.
