Vintage 1999, sampled 2006. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of raising and plums, but also notes of oxidation and roasted malt, giving it a sligth acidity. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of plums and chocolate, but also light notes of the alcohol and oxidation, leading to a dry woody end. The mouthfeel is very smooth.

Brown color, generous head. Light malt aroma and caramel. Less sweet than many other Julöl, some malt and caramel; ordinary palate, still with some caramel.

Bottled. Dark amber with fine head. Dusty, fruity aroma. Sweet and raisiny, actually rather malty. Decent bitterness. Surprisingly non-awful.

Nice dark golden colour. The flavour is an unbalanced mix of hops, malt and alcohol. Tastes really, really awful....a bit like puke actually.

Bottled. The pun towards a certain Swedish leftist (now ex-)politician gets very obvious once you see the label. Orangey amber colour with fine head. Discrete smokey nose. Clean hard maltiness, rather sweet. A pleasant smokiness creeps up on you and lasts into the salty finish. Between the lines you could tell that the Akkurat staff weren't really that happy with the ingredients they could use at the experiment brewery. Probably the best lager ever to come out of a Carlsberg brewery though...

Bottled. Copper coloured, creamy head. Smells of honey, eucalypthus and menthol. Medium bodied and sugary, but not terribly sweet. Has a not of bitterness in the finsish, but more artificial honey flavour. A look at the label explains this part: Ingredients: Water, malt, hops, yeast, honey aroma...
