Tap at Churchkey. Black, big brown head. Aroma and taste is identical: s’mores!!! I was afraid of this beer at first, but it turned out to be OK.

O. M. G. This one is definitely different. Bottle at Churchkey. Very black with no head and scant lacing. It has legs!! A rare sight in beers. Aroma is peppermint candy and sweat socks, certainly unique. Flavor starts with root beer candy - those barrel-shaped hard candy things you used to get as a kid; then it progresses to toffee and butterscotch.. Amazing.

A deep dark stout with a thin light moka head. In aroma, superb alcohol and cherry blossoms, espresso and amaretto, pungeant and striking. In mouth, sweet capuccino with Grand Marnier, maple syrup, very smooth, warming, perfect for winter. Rich and smooth. On tap at St-Bock, Dec. 26 2009.

A cognac like ale with a thin white head. A perfumey malt aroma, very subdued and light. In mouth, an interestingly hoppy rendition, clean, lightly sweet, oily mouthfeel, a bit light but not bad, but not really a triple though. On tap at St-Bock, Dec. 26 2009.

A hazed reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet malt and cinnamon overtones, some light off notes. In mouth, a sweet caramel and cinamon, wiht loads of fruity notes, no hops, rather oily, meaty, more like a belgian strong ale than a barley wine. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 5 2009.

Dark brown color with a small head that settles quickly to leave profound and long-lasting lacing. Aroma of butterscotch and pine needles. Flavor begins with sweet candy, a background of apples, then progresses to a jumbled gemisch of spice and dandelions. Good body. An interesting concept, but comes across as confused rather than complex.
