Pastry stout from somewhere that isn't Florida?!?! Actually not bad, overly caramel but the doughnut feel is there. Some cinnamon on the nose too. Diabetus is back baby!

Gotta let it warm up a bit to get the flavors, definitely cinnamon and pistachio upfront, chocolate vanilla back. Bit more malt notes than I'd like though

Damn I thought this was a barleywine for ddp. oh well. Huge rye forward and stacked with grapefruit citrus. Bit too bitter upfront from the stack. Also get reminiscent notes of old school west coast ipa ultra bitter hop stacks.

Pours a nice near black from a bottle, very little head, dissipates quickly. Lots of floaties from the bottom, not quite sure they're hop pellet residue, some yellow, some green. Stopped drinking. Nose is peanutty, similar flavor. Was hoping for more chocolate. Okay beer.

Pours a nice near black from a bottle, dark tan head. Light chocolate aroma and flavor, very sweet, lactose very much present. Good beer.

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a deep brown with a small head that dissipates quickly. Lots of whisky and oak in the nose with milk chocolate and caramel. More whisky, vanilla, cacao, brownies and caramel on the palate. Not much peanut coming through, a bit thin in the body with a warming finish.

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo. Pours a thick, deep brown to black with a finger of foam that dissipates. Caramel and milk chocolate aromas dominate the nose with some faint peanut as it warms. More caramel and chocolate on the palate. Sweet with a slight grainy texture and a tad thin. Definitley a baby ruth-like beer.
