500 ml brown glass bottle with tear-off cap, as Shumensko Premium Beer. ABV is 4.6%. A gift, BB date seems to be 13.12.08. Extremely pale yellow colour, huge white head. Sweetish aroma with strong "chemical" notes, vile stuff. Soft mouthfeel. Bland and boring flavour with just a hint of sweetness and minimal hops, but not totally undrinkable.

Can imported by hand from Bulgaria. Pours a very pale, light yellow with a fizzy white head. Nose is some lightly sweet, pale malts and some earthy hops. Flavor is classic lager with some grassy notes and mild, mild bite. Crisp and earthy on the finish. Refreshing and good.

500ml bottle picked up in a supermarket in the old town of Nessebar, Bulgaria. Filmy white layer over a clear, straw coloured body. Lighter aroma of grass. Sweet grassy fruits in flavour. Very short lived bitter aftertaste. Clean tasting. Nothing special for the style, no strange taste, however (18.07.2009).
