Tap at Brewdog Frankfurt. Cloudy, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity and slightly leafy, hoppy aroma, hints of lemon, lemon tea, lemongrass. Taste is moderately bitter, grassy and citrusy fruity, minimally leafy hoppy, notes of lemon, lemon tea, a herbal touch of eucalyptus, menthol. Minimally oily, watery texture, slightly dry palate, fine and dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Fairly bitter and refreshing - Okay.

Medium, rather stable white head over pineapplejuice-like beer. Exotic fruit, citrus, moss, and faintly nutty. Bitter and fruity esters. Again I get something nutty, walnuts, walnutpeel ending. Mushrooms. Medium bodied, good carbonation. Some different fruitpeels in the aftertaste. Nice! Txs to Joren for bringing!

Small, relatively stable white head over orange-golden beer. Bit of citrus, bit leafy, partly toasted (?) malts, rather dull. Again (sweetish) citurs, malt, hint at peanuts (fatty acids?), very faintly spicy (white pepper, nutmeg), and earthy. Light body, well-carbonated, just a tad slick. Not very interesting. This bottle only called Porter , not "small". But it IS the 6% Porter, not the 5.5% Very thick, creamy, cream coloured head, straight, over red-shot black beer. Smoked, lightly phenolic, Rauchmalz, smoked mackerel, rookzout. Very, very light stoutacidity, lots of Rauchmalz (even when the smokiness remains restrained), smoked fish or meat, mineral. Feels almost chewy, lively carbonation, oily-slick. Not bad at all! Txs to Joren for bringing!

Sample (thanks omhper!). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, herbal, some mild nutty tones along with toast. Flavour is slightly salty, some nutty and toasted tones with mild sweet malts to it as well. Quite different, but in a good way. Gooseberryish salty and nutty aftertaste.
