The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts mild, modest spicy, nice hoppy notes, not too intense. Well balanced, round finish, modest wheaty. Really good pils.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Mild dry malty and light bittering hops coming through in the aroma. Light sweet malty flavoured with a light caramel note and a delicate bitterness. Crisp bitter and malty finish. Good.

Bottle, 5.2%. Citric and grainy aroma, hint of soap. Clear golden colour. The flavour has an OK bitterness, but with soap and marcipan aftertaste.

Big coarseish offwhite shiny head. Yellow body. Very little aroma. Sweetish grassy spicy taste with grainy notes. Dry chalky grassy aftertaste with lemony notes. A bit watery. Lacking in body. Charmless, boring. No obvious flaws. (0.3l draft at Hotell Gosequell, Goslar.)

Bottle: deep brownish-amber coloured, clear, smaller, quite stable firm tanned head, aroma of Coke and a liquid, diluted X-mas cake (cinnamon, nut-meg); light sweetish (artificial) flavour with an even lighter sourness, sticky and light-bodied; artificial sweeters and cinnamon on the short finish. 330ml bottle picked up at BΓΆhle Feinkost & Vinothek (good selection of beers from different countries) in the old town of Vienna. Clear amber body with a lasting, low-level, off-white head. Weak aroma of sweet malts. Candy sweetness in flavour mixed with a watery caramel touch and yeasty hints to the finish. Rather cheap tasting xmas beer (01.12.2007).

Bottle: Pale yellow, quickly collapsing white layer, distinctive aromas of artificially sweetened apple-juice; sweet-sourish flavour, very light bodied; some beery - e.g. grainy/bitter - traces in the sweet-bitter finish. Too sweet, too artificial..........
