Bottle. Deep godlen color. Tangerine and banana in both aroma and flavor. Yeasty. Nutty. Hints of yoghurt. Lacks character but certainly not unpleasant.

1/5/2019. Bottle courtesy of Boris, cheers for this little gem! Pours dark brown with a red tint and an average sized beige head. Aroma of malt, prune juice, raisins, biscuit and light syrup. Quite heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, above average carbonation. Strange sweet treacle finish. Becomes very watery. Looks ok, otherwise poor.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'EDEKA Henschen', best before August 2019. Clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, moderately floral and a bit grassy-spicy aroma of caramel, vanilla, grains and some straw. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and a bit floral taste of caramel, honey, vanilla, some grains and a touch of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently grassy-spicy and a bit metallic finish. Medium to full body, smooth, slightly creamy and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid Maibock, quite clean and pleasant to drink, cannot diguise its industrial origin, of course.

0,33 l Steinie bottle with a new more old school label art. Clear copper in the glass, huge frothy pale beige head. Smells malty. Taste starts sweet malty, hints of cherry. Grain in the second row. Getting a little bit more dry malty with low bitterness to the end.
