330ml bottle. Minimally milky, orange, dark golden to amber colour with small to average, dense, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity hoppy and slightly doughy yeasty, minimaly bready malty aroma, hints of lemon tea and brioche, a touch of crisp bread. Taste is mildly bitter, citrusy fruity and minimally leafy hoppy, minimally caramel malty with low residual sweetness and minimally doughy yeasty, hints of lemon tea, a minimally sugary touch somehow.
Watery texture, smooth, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Fairly balanced and refreshing, widely disguised doughy flavours - not bad.

Minimally toasty and nutty, caramel malty aroma with minimally grainy undertones, a touch of hazelnut, spelt. Taste is slightly caramel malty with low residual sweetness, minimally bitter and leafy, fruity hoppy overtones, a touch of burnt caramel, cherry; leafy finish.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Okay-ish composition, not the most appealing flavours - acceptable.

Mitternachtsbraune Farbe. Schaumentwicklung für ein Stout OK. Dicht röstig, malziger Geruch mit Spuren von Likör und schwer süßem Traubensaft. Das ist schon mal eine gute Einstimmung auf das was einem beim Trinken erwartet. Bittere röstige Noten bilden einen schönen Gegenpol zur recht süßen Auslegung des Biers. Der sehr hohe Alkoholgehalt ist nicht zu vordergründig und gut eingebunden. Schweres, volles und weiches Mundgefühl. Gutes Imperial Stout, dass bei aller Extremität, doch harmonisch und süffig bleibt.

Süßlicher, hellmalzig herber Beginn. Süffig, angenehme Bitterkeit, etwas getreidig. Der Hopfen ist angenehm dosiert und frisch, das Bier unerwartet ausgewogen, Zitrusnoten. Lecker! 8/10/11/11/9/11
