Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Dry, grainy nose with flowery hops - smells very much like a Lager. Medium body, fruity, some cabbage and a slight tartness. Not really an APA in my eyes. 191222

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark brown with an orange hue and a small, rough, beige head. Sweet chocolate and subtle roast in the nose with a hint of smoke. Sweet, malty body. Vanilla and milk chocolate with only a wee whiff of (Bamberg?) smoke. Low carbonation. Baltic Porter? 260822

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a small, rough off-white head. Sweet aroma of overripe fruit and brown sugar. Rich, sweet, biscuity ,alts. toffee, overripe fruits with just sufficient balancing hops. Carbonation to the low side. A malt lover's beer. I love malt. 260822

33cl bottle. A almost black beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of intense peated dark malt, smoke. Taste of strong peated and smoked malt, some red fruits and hints of sourness.

Torfiger Beginn, der von einer leichten Säure merkwürdig unterbrochen wird. Diese Säure nimmt nach und nach mehr Platz ein, das Torfmalz wird unwichtiger. Etwas cremig im Hintergrund, mittellanger Abgang. Soll das so schmecken..? 10/8/6/6/11/6

Bottle 33 cl. No vintage on the label, but it states that it's a 9,5% Barley Wine. Pours a clear, reddish brown with almost no head. Caramel nose, there's some really creamy fudge there. Rich, sweet body with hardly any carbonation. Massively sweet toffee, lightly bitter with a warming alcohol. Not great but at 3.09 it's clearly downrated. 020322

Bottle 33 cl. Pours black with an orange hue and a small, rough and beige head. Some sweet, pruney aroma paired with a hint of chocolate - but there's a dirty, unclean edge to it. Medium body, dry roast, quite metallic and again these incredibly unclean accents that are actually deeply unpleasant. Really skewed and flawed. 020322
