Pretty dark appearance. It has a typical wheat taste, with a fresh, citrus-like flavor and therefore easy to drink. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hefe-Weißbier Dunkel on 27 May 2019 at 20:51 - Score: 7. Dark amber; sweet malty aroma w/molasses, marmalade, and earthy undertones. Zippy alcohol notes and lemon candy lead into a sweet, brown sugary middle. Gets thick and cloying at the end.

Dark brown. Slight siruparoma. Pretty neutral balanced taste this beer has. From the "Dark side" a bit more prefer i would.

Draught, Paulaner Beer Garden, Bangkok
Opaque chestnut colour. Aroma of banana, toast, milk chocolate, brown sugar. Sweet palate shows a slightly nutmeggy banana flavour with bready notes and sweaty yeast.

Pale yellow, hazy; moderate character for the style - all the elements are there, not very assertive though. Finishes hoppier and yeastier than some.

This is a bit on the thin-bodied side, but that is somewhat made up for by the sweet and malty flavor, with very subtle hints of caramel. This malty sweetness masks the alcohol content very well, but then it comes back through in the finish a little too much for my taste. Still a good beer, though.

MWBF 2002: Spritzy clove and banana aroma. Banana and citrus flavor. Refreshing and characterful, though not as complex as better hefeweizens. Cloudy yellow with firm head.

MWBF 2002: Take malta (unfermented malt beverage) and water it down immensely and this is what you get. A hint of sweet Munich malt in aroma and flavor, alot of water and no body.

A dark yellow beer with a beutiful head. It has a typical wheatbeer aroma of yeast and fruit. The taste is slightly sour caracteristic of beers brewed on malted wheat. The flavor also contains yeast and a bit citrus - but almost non bitterness. A good wheat beer.
