Ruby colour. Raisiny aroma. Dry and strikingly malty. Pleasant, bitter finish. Uncomplicated but tasty.

Watery, straw and somewhat skunky nose. Pale urine yellow, no carbonation, ok head. Boring, medium body, watery aftertaste.

Dark brown. Densely malty, oaky and thick. Syrupy, sweet finish with quite a lot of bitterness.

Rererate at the Starkbierfest on the Nockherberg. Fresh from tab this classic displays all the fruity, berrylike and spicy notes it is known for, beautifull! Re-rate: Dark red in color and with a malty aroma. Moderate carbonation end a light vinous taste. Aftertaste is pretty neutral.

Bananaaroma. Murky brown. Tastes almost just like their regular weizen, but has this strange ash aftertaste from the rye.

Rerate. Significantly improved since then. Like most modern alkfree beers fairly decent. Thin but chewy, still light paper and hay, fresh hops. Perfectly drinkable when thirsty and the full version isn’t a option.
Old rating. 8 6 3 2 2.5Ok theyt try to cover the thin masharoma with a lot of aromahops which is good. The color is very nice and golden too, but unfortunately it has a rather strong cardboard taste and a sticky aftertaste. According to the brewey it was one of the first alcfree beers back in 1987 ....mayby it is time they give it another try.

Rerate from tap at Nockherberg. A lot drier and less fruity than I remembered 7 4 7 4 12 hazy straw looks, good banana aroma, fullbodied yet fresh, wellbalanced taste - uneventfull
