Loved the original and this amped up version working well with big prominent berry fruity goodness, rich and vibrant, nice creamy lactose backing, nice balance of tart and sweetness into the fruity finish.

Lovely mint chocolaty on the nose and taste follows with silky rich chocolate and very nicely balanced mint, some creamy lactose bringing more smooth sweetness, mint laced dark sweet malty finish. Top drawer.

Draught keg at the Tap Tavern, Richmond. Brownish purple, fairly translucent with a quickly dissipating puce head. Aroma is full of cherry and red velvet cake, some red grape, some vanilla. Absolutely gorgeous bit struggling to place the tonka here. Taste is super sweet with touches of sour initially... and just at the finish. A little bit of tonka here in addition to other characteristics, perhaps it serves to enhance everything else rather than stand out on its own... Light body with softer carbonation. Gorgeous.
