Sweetish, fruity and slightly tartish with some berries, candy sourness, licorice powder and spiciness. Not as aggressive with licorice and sourness as other Turkinpippuri sours, surprisingly easy going

Can from Eltham Sainsburys. Nose is chocolate, red fruits, vanilla. Bit of a black forest gateaux vibe, lots of chocolate. Not bad.

Draught Keg at the Real Ale Classroom, Leicester City Centre. Cream coloured and thick/hazy with a beige head. Vanilla aroma, some banana, a little bit of coconut. The coconut is stronger in the mouth, with more banana and maybe a touch of lemon. French vanilla and some lime posset in the finish. Thick body but not impossibly so. Pretty sexy.

Draught keg at the Real Ale Classroom, Leicester city centre. This pour, wow... purplish red and impenetrable thick/hazy. Sharp, bright berry aroma. The blackberry comes through so cleanly and I feel like I'm imagining raspberry too. Good sour berry taste (again more of the blackberry than anything else) followed by a dollop of fresh coconut milk sweetness. Body is thick and soupy. Lovely. A great sour.

This would be a lovely cocktail. Lots of fruit, nice tart base, creamy texture, tastes really nutty ce, just doesn’t taste like a beer.
