Description
Artisanal, unpasteurized NISSOS beers are brewed and bottled in small quantities. They are made from finest quality malts, aromatic hops and carefully selected yeast in a slow, traditional, all-natural brewing and fermentation process. NISSOS beers are full of exciting flavors and alluring aromas! They contain absolutely no preservatives or additives and are naturally carbonated.
The Cyclades Microbrewery on Tinos was started from zero in 2012, in the midst of Greece’s financial crisis by Alexandros and Maya. Instead of acting as a deterrent, the crisis actually spurred us into action, for we were convinced that the bleak domestic beer landscape was symptomatic of the country’s woes.

Golden colour, small white head. Metallic, sweetish malty aroma. Light-bodied. Sweetish malty flavour, low bitterness, light grainy-worty notes. Typical "have cold one at beach" lager.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma has toasted bready malt, Belgian yeast, and some red berries. Flavour has a nice Belgian yeast expression, toasted nuts, candied fruits, and caramel. Really solid expression of the Belgian yeast, finishing slightly sweet and nicely carb’d. Good stuff.

Bottle sampled on Corfu. Gold with a frothy, white head.. Crisp bitter, but with some mild, metallic off-notes. Faint dough sweet undertones. Mild. Delicate feel. Refreshing enough on a hot day.

Bottle, 4.6%. Malty and fruity aroma with faint notes of tea. Hazy golden colour, perhaps more cloudy toward the bottom. Good stable white head. The flavour is malty with a mild bt good floral note. The bitterness is higher than expected from the style, and there is a faint baking yeast note in the finish. But pretty good.
