Can. Clear golden amber with a fat coat of white head. Pungent NS aroma - goose & other berries, caramelised white grapes, grass, light bread. Clean, medium bodied, carbonation is moderate. Sweetish with the hops driving the whole thing before delivering only medium bitterness. Very nice, although I would have liked a little more bitterness.

From a 440ml can on 14/7/2024. Pours a clearish medium-deep golden with a biggish head. The nose is earthy, minerally with a hint of pine. Tastes of light caramel malt, orange and nectarine. Finishes firmly bitter, with a good dash of pine, resin and grapefruit. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Excellent.

From a 440ml can on 10/7/2024. Pours a hazy medium golden with a medium head. Has a bright citrus nose with some herbal notes. Very citrussy on the sip - orange, mandarin, lemon and a dash of tangerine all presenting. Finishes with a moderate to firm bitterness, with some citrus rind in the mix. Silky palate with average to lively carbonation. Really nicely balanced and very tasty

The flavour is light liquorice bitter and sweet, with a smooth, light, somewhat watery, malt, hazelnut, earthy, light liqourice bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can. Clear pale amber with a cm of white head. Aroma of caramelized grapefruit, pine needles, pepper, some biscuit. The biscuit is pretty light upon a taste and the malt side of things is pretty blandly sweet. but quite savoury citrus and firm peppery and piney bitterness snap things together well enough. Interesting.

440ml can from Ben’s Cafe, Cheras. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is initially quite earthy, herbal, woody, but eventually became rather dank. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a somewhat light, crisp, big herbal, vinous, floral, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice but won’t be to everyone’s taste. Not a beer I’d buy a case of. Aroma and flavour changed noticeably as the beer warmed and got some air.
