Bottle. Clear amber, a fluffy lasting white head. Bready and toasty aroma with toffee, dried fruit (sultanas, prunes, wild figs), spices. Very much how it tastes. Malty but dries out with gradually tightening bitterness. A slight vinegar undertone is nice.

Can. Black, a 1/2cm tan head. Roasty aroma with mocha, gentle caramel, hints of liquorice. Smooth with no other obvious lactose influence. Not very sweet. Intense chocolate backed by roast, singed toffee, coffee. Focused, good.

Bottle. Brownish red with a beige head that's soon less than a coat. Vinous aroma with old wood, cherries, spices, hints of chocolate and vinegar. Fairly sour but still a little creamy with moody stewed red fruit, wood, aged vinegar. Good, but some way off Out of the Woods.

330ml can. Crystal clear golden with a white head. Aroma is vinous and resinous, pine, citrus. Taste follows suit, Nelson's vinous notes with plenty of resinous and piney hops, grapefruit, orange peel, strong lingering bitterness. Medium bodied. Great westie.

Bottled 2/23. Hazy yellowish orange with a white head that's soon less than a coat. Moderately funky aroma of oldish lemon rind, glace pineapple, lemon fluff, hints of boot polish. Surprisingly only dryish with some peach and crackery dough joining citrus and modest tropical flavours before an oaky & slightly bitter finish that's more pepper than vanilla. Pretty good.

Draft at Kura’s Krafts, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, grassy, weedy. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, dank, weedy, light citrus, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.
