Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral, and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long grainy, malty, caramel and astringe finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.0%. Moderately hazy golden brown colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of biscuit malts and earthy English hops, also hints of citrus and berries. Citric mouthfeel. Dry flavour of biscuit malts and earthy hops again, also some citrus and berries, hints of alcohol, medium bitter finish. A solid English strong ale.

Forholdsvis pålitelige notater fra Bergen Ølfestival, i godt selskap med Haakegutt, Bryne, BFF&Karen: klar gylden med fint kniplingskum som varer. Gress, urter, litt furunål og halvtørr citrus. Fin bitterhet i avslutningen.
