Bottle courtesy of Kostas, Kykao Brewery, sent to me, thank you so much for your generosity Kostas. Had this at home listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music Wednesday 4th November 2020. Pours hazy dirty yellowy with a white head, mushy overipe fruit, but the yeastiness adds another dimension, it's a little earthy. Fruity with the yeastiness coming through again, nice softness in the mouth, there is a tanginess with some orange. Good but not the best from Kykao.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden, white head. Thyme, yeast, spicy, a bit floral, rather dry, bitterish finish, strong carbonation.

Super carbonated and bright. Nice underlying subtle funk. The honey shines through a lot. The spruce is mild but a unique touch. Beer shop athens!

Pours shark eye black with a light beige head. Wow this is super smooth, really creamy mouthfeel and super indulgent, absolutely loving this.Wonderful rich, but subtle coffee and cocoa beans, overlapped with some smooth milk chocolate, gorgeous stout, simply stunning.

Pours hazy mid gold/yellow with a white head. Nice yeastiness, light roseiness, a little warmth from the abv, Belgian yeastiness influence really noted. Really nice beer but it's a hard act to follow the impactful Milkshake Double Sour from them, in retrospect I should have consumed these in reverse order.

Huge fruit punch, wonderful tart and with a light bitterness. Lots of passion fruit, I love passion fruit, I've not had many milkshake IPA's but this is great, the pineapple noted on the front has less of an impact but it's there. Lovely and drinks so easy for the abv.

Picked this up from the brewery in Patras Greece, once again many thanks to Kostas for his time and generosity on our visit, great beer, great brewery. I had this Friday 9th October 2020, in Frank at a parking place for campervans, Kelheim. Pours chestnut brown, unclear, only a thin rim of bubbles. Rich and with the usual barley wine traits, so plenty of dark rich fruits, hints of sherry etc, and an underlying vanilla touch from the oak chips. Good beer, very good beer.

Picked up from the brewery,Patras, Greece (cheers Kostas!) had this Friday 9th October 2020, in Frank at a parking place for campervans, Kelheim. Black in colour with a swiftly departing head. Fruity, quite a distinct orange flavour, the base beer is a really agreeable smooth rich stout. Another very good beer from Kykao.

Bottle picked up from Kostas and the Kykao Brewery, Patras, Greece and consumed at home Sunday 4th October 2020 listening to some Drum & Bass courtesy of Anastasia and Xenofon, cooking fried potatoes and frying chicken. Pours warm gold with a white head, lots of resinous touches here both in the mouth and on the nose. Nice slick mouthfeel, lovely bitterness, a very good DIPA.

Bottle picked up from Kostas and the Kykao Brewery, Patras, Greece and consumed at home Sunday 4th October 2020 listening to Aldous Harding - Designer, cooking fried potatoes and frying chicken. Light gold with a big billowing white head, the thyme shows on the nose, lovely saison, good yeasty bite, refreshing but with a nice funkiness. Great.
