Bottle picked up from the brewery and consumed at home Friday 2nd October 2020, listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music, cooking a Chicken Curry with homemade Nan. Pours hazy brown with an off white head, sweet and really quite pokey, some molasses, but there is a big juicy piney hit, this is great.

Bottle picked up directly at the brewery in Patras, Greece from Kostas. Had this at home Sunday 27th September 2020 watching 'The Invention of Lying' on Netflix. Pours black with a light tan head. Subtle smokiness on the nose, chocolate also. Smooth in the mouth, chocolate and light smokiness working well in the mouth, very easy drinking, a light creaminess, cocoa, gentle roastiness. Good beer, really good beer once again from Kykao. Ok

Bottle picked up from Kykao Brewery, big thanks to Kostas's for spending so much time with us. Consumed at home Wednesday 23rd September 2020. Pours hazy light gold with a mid sized white head. Crisp and refreshing with a nice mineral, flinty edge to this, lengthy bitter and dry finish, really good.

Bottle picked up at the brewery and shared with the Bierol brewer and friends at Bierol Brewery and Taproom, Sunday 20th September 2020 after a long drive from Padova, Italy. Pours black with a light beige head. Nice aroma, suggesting sweetness to come it has chocolate and a light smoke edge with a little coffee. Really smooth, chocolate, coffee and smoke combination work well in the mouth, this is another great beer from Kykao.

Bottle picked up at the brewery and consumed in Frank after a cycle ride from Pianiga to Padova then to CR/AK Brewery before cycling back to Pianiga and Frank Saturday 19th September 2020. Pours very dark brown with a slim off white head, lots of coffee on the nose, really lots of coffee. Coffee in the mouth, smooth but with a nice fresh and roasty bite, this is a lovely coffee porter, an excellent example of the style. Lovely.

Bottle picked up from Kykao Brewery, Patras, Greece and consumed on Asterion II, Anek Lines RoRo ferry en route from Igoumenitsa, Greece to Venice, Italy Friday 18th September 2020. Cannot tell the colour as drinking from my kleankanteen. Nice bitterness, the hop combination works really well here, fruity, good bittersweet bite. Really good IPA.

Bottle picked up from Kykao brewery, Patras and consumed at Igoumenitsa port, Greece, Thursday 17th September 2020. Pours hazy light gold with a white head. Nice soft mouthfeel, juicy but with a good citrus punch. Really good hoppiness throughout, really good, finish is slightly dry.

Bottle picked up from Kykao brewery, Patras and consumed at Kalianna Apartments, Lefkada Town, Lefkada, Greece, Wednesday 16th September 2020. Pours murky brown with an off white head. Dried booze soaked fruits tussle with molasses and vanilla on the nose. In the mouth more of the same, it's a big beer but it drinks remarkably easy, dark sugars, dried fruits, vanilla, wet wood, some light spice touches. Good beer.

Bottle picked up from the brewery and consumed at Kalianna Apartments, Lefkada Town, Lefkada, Greece, Wednesday 16th September 2020. Pours orange gold with a white head, Brett is subtle on the nose, a little more forthright in the mouth, buzzy bitterness, citrus, pithy and with a pleasant zippy edge. This one starts slowly but steadily improving with each sip. Really nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden. Lacto, fruitiness, a bit of pomegranate, mildly sourish and slightly sweetish, graininess, lemony note. OK.
