4 oz. draft. I appreciate it for what it is but I don’t wanna drink lavender flowers. Way to floral for a stout. Mouthfeel was nice and the alcohol was hidden. Interesting, just not my type of thing.

Sample from the can at hotel room in Boston. Color is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, hops and malts. Basic but great drinkability.

473ml can from Fort Point Market. Canned 01/18/19. Smooth, sweetish and juicy fruity with some tropical notes, pine and grass. Pretty good.

Canned 11/21, drunk 12/3/18. Straight soup, albeit more pale, white golden. White head fades slowly to cover.Hell yeah! Ok, I can get behind this. Pure Galaxy goodness with everything you want, big mineral, white wine galore, lime zest and spicy, Capsaicin-like goodness and nothing you don't (no scallion/onion, pine, resin, grapefruit). Passion fruit and unripe mango lingers on and it's completely enveloping, lush, juicy and wonderful. Malts behind it show biscuit and cracker and remain mostly out-of-the-way. No alcohol, resin or flaw. This smells just a shade less hoppy than Headroom and maybe not quite as malty, but it's right up there with the best Galaxy DIPAs, at least aroma-wise. In the mouth it definitely delivers; maybe not quite up to the high level of the nose, but still nothing to scoff at. Lime zest, passion fruit, heavy white wine, heavy mineral and an almost spearmint-like note with a fantastically soft, supple, malty body that shows high attenuation and low but tight carbonation. No alcohol or flaw. Biscuit and cracker gently balance and there's no resin to contend with. Love the dryness. Love the Galaxy. Amazing. Wonder how they got from their previous beers to this point? This is an exponentially large jump, even from Astraios, which was good. Definitely have my attention now.

Canned 11/21, drunk 11/28/18. Straight up soup. So thick. But pale gold, not amber chix soup. White head to ring. Galaxy in the nose is spicy and has plentiful mineral, spice, pine and passion fruit. A bit obscured by all the crap in sediment but no resin or alcohol. In the mouth it has good Galaxy notes, again obscured by weird yeast notes. Way too much shit in here but this is a Marked improvement from their initial drain pours. Spicy Galaxy capsaicin character is lovely. Carbonation is a little loose but otherwise it's pretty well-attenuated with more malt depth than they had before by a longshot. No resin or alcohol. VERY rough around the edges but incredibly improved so I'm glad to have given them another chance.

Cranberry-grape juice colored body is cloudy and topped by a pinkish head that recedes to cover.
Cherry-raspberry and perhaps some Brett? Or is that just the skin/seed character? Definitely some medicinal notes here, though I'm not sure if I can tell what they are, or even if they're intentional. Almost apple or peach-like, as well. Interesting fruit character and soft/even, as well. Not acidic/tart, really.
Raspberry-apple notes are strong up front and the beer is very dry, thin and quite undermalted as their beers have been so far. Definitely some weird off notes here, with dirt-like notes emerging. Although there's no malt character, the fruit is done quite nicely. With warming and breathing, some dry, leafy, vegetal and earth notes emerge as well. Weird stuff. Very little/almost no beer character here. Lots of odd phenol and medicinal notes though. Kind of comes together to taste like cherry robitussin, though without the texture of that.
