Bottle at home. Pours a hazy deep nut brown colour with a big frothy, pretty compact beige head. A lot of wood and nuts in a very rich and a bit complex aroma. I also sence some cinnamon and pepper, cocoa as well. Surprisingly light and slick mouthfeel. The flavours also contain wood and nuts, but leather too. Some roasted malt in the end with a hint of coffee. Bitterness = medium+, and lasts. A beer that is something for it self, interesting but maybe a bit unbalanced in the flavour. Decent enough though.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks troubles. Slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, slightly stale, piney hints and a bit of graininess. Flavor of slightly stale hops, light fruitiness and grainy notes. Medium-bodied.

Keg at the Euston Tap. Pours a clear, rich gold with a fine, foamy white cream head. Ripe citrus nose with some doughy white bread. Medium sweet flavor with jammy citrus, some ripe berries, lightly toasted sugars and some leafy bitters. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with some dirt, ripe citrus and more leaves. It’s a pretty underwhelming IPA.

Bottle at home. Has a hazy dark amber colour with a small light beige head. Nice classic IPA-aroma with fruity hops, peaches, cardboard and some berries. More fruity hops in the flavour, some spices, herbs and agian sweet berries. Soft, rich and a bit sparkly mouthfeel, and medium bitter. A good, balanced and rich IPA.

Aroma: Very piney and floral perfume. Hints of dirt and orange peel.

Appearance: Bright orange body with a fluffy off-white head. Little yeast particles floating around. Almost no carbonation and just a little lacing.

Taste: Reminds me of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale - this has a very floral taste. Subtle notes of rose flavoured Turkish delight. Very bitter, but well rounded and balanced. Light peppery spice to finish.

Palate: Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Light carbonation. Quite dry.

Overall: The best Italian beer I’ve tasted, though that’s not saying much as I’ve not tried many. A well balanced, floral beer.

Pitch black color, steady beige head. A bit tart, lactose aroma. Light-bodied. Light chocolate, coffee, some milky lactose and hints of vegetables. Maybe tap not in top condition but quite ok milk stout.

Slightly hazy golden color, good creamy white head and some lace. Aroma has some gabbage, citrus and orange peels, Light bodied. Orange peels and orange in the flavor. Not much bitterness, more on fruity side. Not outstanding but perhaps not the most common golden ale.
