Bottle @ Varina Cafe - Ankara. Pours faintly cloudy light amber with uncharacteristically small almost non existent beige frithy head, faint citrus aroma, low carbonation, lightly bitter hay taste with a bit of citrus, thin body, abrupt finish. Not fizzy or fresh enough.

33cl bottle at BurgerLab, Atatürk airport, Istanbul. Not as refreshing as the Summer IPA, and I still didn’t manage to get a glass, but. Mild malty with mild fruity and floral notes, hints of citrus and honey. A bit to boring at first, but guess it was too cold. Some vegetables notes appear too? Not too memorable, but still an ocean away from the infamous industrial lager that’s so popular here. Fair low flavour intensity and mild, but certainly noticeable bitterness. Fair enough. --- Beer merged from original tick of Gara Guzu Blonde Ale on 17 Jun 2017 at 23:47 - Score: 6

33cl bottle at BurgerLab, Atatürk airport, Istanbul. Wow, Turkish session IPA, that’s a nice surprise. Expected to find only macros at the airport, but this is certainly better than Efes. Nothing spectacular, but seems like a nice and clean session IPA. Fruity aroma dominated by citrus, tropical fruits and hints of malt too. Tasty, balanced and refreshing. Rather nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Summer IPA - Session on 17 Jun 2017 at 23:43 - Score: 7

Certainly a strange operation - maybe this would be better for the Turkish palate. Huge dose of beets like the Royal Rumble. Some odd honey aroma. Some vegetable bitterness. Tangy with astringency. Not very drinkable. Bottle at Burger Lab in Ataturk airport.

Certainly the worst of the Gara Guzu line. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Some lightly caramelized malt. Clean finish with some cloying aftertaste like that exgirlfriend that likes all your posts on Facebook still. Tap at James Joyce.
