16 oz. can, pours a hazy bright golden with a large foamy white head. Aroma brings out lots of rustic farmhouse yeast, white wine hops, and some gentle grape must. Flavour is bright, with an assertive tangy hop character, lots of rustic farmhouse yeast, and some earthy musty grape skins. Rustic, bright, fairly dry. Nicely made.

Very hazy, deep and copper coloured body with a bright orange glow and a thinnish, two centimetre tall off-white head that fades slowly and leaves the opaque body below shining nicely. Aroma of passionfruit, guava, some oranges and even a dash of bananas with a light hit of the yeast and flowers behind, but full of smells, in a good way. Medium-bodied; Strong rich passionfruit flavours show with a good guava and papaya note due to the richness along with a floral finish and some grassy and dry notes at the end with a hit of sweetness form the fruits as well with some additional caster sugar notes, too. Aftertaste is clean and crisp with the fruits front and centre along with some sour and tart elements and a dash of yeast and breads which doesn't go down quite as easily. Overall, a nice, fruit-forward beer that has a lot of richness from the malt and the fruits that hits nicely and leaves a good bite in the mouth from the tart and soured elements. I sampled this sixteen ounce pour on draught at Woods (Polk Station) in San Francisco, California on 07-March-2021 for US$8,00.

Super smooth and crisp, light golden coloured body with a thick, two to three centimetre tall pure white, relatively soapy head that fades pretty quickly, but leaves a thin lace on the sides and the top. Aroma of grass, soap, light flowers, a dash of lemons and some passionfruit here with a subdued but noticeable alpha acid pungency and bitterness, in the nose at least. Light to Medium-bodied; Crisp grassy and herbal flavours show at first with a nice soft hop bitterness and some flowers towards the end with a light citrus and lemon flavour at the very end, devoid of sugars throughout. Aftertaste shows some honey and herbal notes with a little dose of hay and flowers along with a nice enjoyable yeast kick that almost shows some lager components as well. Overall, a nice, very crisp and floral beer that shows more of an IPL than of an IPA, but fairly bitter, pretty easy-drinking and full of flavour, nice to sample for my first beer here this time in San Francisco. I sampled this sixteen ounce pint on draught at the brewpub Woods (Polk Station) in San Francisco, California on 07-March-2021 for US$8,00.

Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazy orange-gold color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a film. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of mild hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mild grassy hops, fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter and slightly metallic with a short hoppy aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
