White waxed bottle pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma pulses with inviting chocolate notes as well as lesser amounts of dark roasted malts, malt balls and then smooth bourbon. The taste delivers smooth rich dark chocolate, slick sweet malts and then chocolate bars, oh yeah. To midway smooth soft sweet bourbon comes to the surface with sweet vanilla character around the edges. This is a solid balanced rich sipping experience.

The taste delivers a pleasing blend of sweet malts, dash of molasses and then a load of tasty pumpkin meat. To midway the bourbon booze treatment wells up to the surface and not really adding to the experience. Solid beer with a yummy pumpkin goodness.

Black waxed bottle pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin dark tan head. The modest aroma offers up soft chocolate, coffee and boozy whiskey. The taste delivers a smooth rich chocolate goodness, more chocolate dark roasted malts and then smooth soft wood and whiskey like booze. A few more sips and the chocolate and dark roasted coffee notes pick up an earthy quality. Into the finish the roastiness takes on a bit of a burnt to charred aspect. Wow. Roasty goodness. Big big roastiness.

Big thanks, again, to JPDurden24 for scoring me this 32oz crowler out of the blue! Awesome. The big can pours out with a clear deep gold body that supports a near white head. The aroma offers up herbal, sweet stone fruit hoppiness, floral hops and then a few pulls later it gets into pineapple, biscuit malts and pine hops. The taste has a long firm blast of pine hops thickened by malts, breadiness and a biscuit sensation. To midway thin streams of pineapple juice slip in there to help balance out the malts and bitter pine hops. Into the finish is seems slivers of mango and apricot are noticed. Pretty full flavored fully hopped IIPA.
