Aromas of grapefruit, rockmelon, butter and biscuit. Full-bodied with a nice balance of flavours. An excellent pale ale.

Pours murky amber with a large head.Nose shows mandarin and vanilla along with marshmallow and caramel.Flavours include more mandarin, vanilla and marshmallow. The lack of bitterness works well.

From a 355ml can on 19/8/2021. Pours a deep brown with a small head. Smells of caramel and chocolate with some roastiness. There's dark and milk chocolate, a bit of coffee and caramel up front with a quite firm roasty bitterness, with hints of licorice and molasses in the background. The little bit boozy in the finish. The mouthfeel is syrupy, the carbonation moderate. A decent big impy but doesn't provide any thrills.

Pours pink-tinged amber. fading white head.Nose shows raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, and berry confectionery.Flavours include more berry, big raspberry note in particular. Finishes with a decent refreshing acidity.

Can. Very dark brown with a coat of tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, caramel - could be maple syrup but not obviously so. Barely medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Not sure whether it's just not as sweet as expected or (also) a bit hollow in the middle, but there's chocolate and vanilla, light roast and that drying sappiness of maple syrup along with some bitterness at the end.
