33cl Bottle from Vonk. Clear amber-brown colour, beige head. Aroma of some hops, raisins, dark fruits, dark malts, a bit faint all. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, dark malts, dark fruits, dried fruits, raisins, light nutty, firm almost herbal underlying bitterness, bitter finish. Light bodied. Nice.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Colin. Gusher! Pours brown with a frothy beige head. The nose has some rich chocolate, ripe dark fruits, bread. Medium sweet flavor with some dry minerals, roast, cocoa, earth, burnt pine. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Roasty finish, more baking cocoa. Scorched earth, dry and rindy citrus. Tasty beer.

33cl Bottle from Vonk. Clear chestnut brown colour, yellow-ish head. Aroma of sweet dried fruit, raisins, malts, some cocoa, but also some sauerkraut. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, fruity, dark fruits, raisins, sauerkraut, dusty bitter finish with a little sourness. Light bodied. It’s not bad (yet), but there’s definitely something off.

330ml bottle. Darkest reddish brown colour with average to huge, thick, firm, fairly lasting, beige head. Herbal, roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of liquorice and celery, underlying cautious hints of treacle. Taste is minimally dry, roasty dark malty, hints of liquorice and celery, a minimally metallic touch, a touch of diluted treacle accounts for subtle sweetness. So-so.
