Aroma of wheat, malt, lots of ripe banana, clove, fruits, lots of spicy yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Carbonation and body are excellent. Definitely the best of the three Brouwlab Hefeweizens, it’s incredibly smooth and well balanced. I’m baffled at the other ratings, this one can compete with the best of them.

Aroma of sweet dried fruits, malt, grain, caramel, some candy sugar notes, spicy notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Thick and a bit sticky. Lots of dried ripe fruits. Some Tripel characteristics, but not much of a Saison.

Bottle at home. Aroma of light malt, tartish fruits, citrus, slightly funky Saison yeast, spicy peppery notes, hint of hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate hoppy bitter. Body is medium. Good carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. Great balance and complexity. A truly lovely Saison.

Bottle at home. Aroma of peppery Saison yeast, floral notes, fruits, citrus, some malt. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. A hint of tartness. Body is medium with a pleasant level of carbonation. Nice easy Saison.

Bottle at home. Aroma of malt, strong caramel, toffee, dark fruits, raisins, pine resin, some liquorice, hint of grapefruit, hops. Flavour is over moderate sweet with an over moderate bittersweet finish. Body is medium to full. My kind of Dunkler Bock.

Bottle at home. Aroma is fruity hops, tropical fruits, dark malt, pine, citrus, chocolate. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium, slightly creamy. Definitely a tasty bittersweet fruity Black IPA.
