330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with small to average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, phenolic fruity aroma, hints of cooked orchard fruit, whiffs of alcohol. Taste is sweet-ish malty and bitter hoppy, minimally sugary hints of caramel, fruity hints of jam and jelly; even more Barley Wine than Triple, not to mention Saison. Sweet, sugary and alcoholic.

7 3 7 3 14 Draft at De Prael, Den Haag. Hazy golden orange with an off white head. Aroma of light herbs, yeast, malt and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours clear amber colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of ripe banana, toasted sweet malt. Taste of sweet malt, ripe banana and spices in the background.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus Culemborg Dark amber with a huge, very persistent off-white head, almost as solid as whipped cream, well done!. Aroma is very hoppy and malty. Taste is hopbitter and mouthfeel is creamy. Not the most subtle beer ever, but that’s why they called it Rough Amber I guess. Very nice and robust.

Many thanks to RW80 for this bottle! Smooth and grainy sweetish beginning. The beer is round and refreshing, no Saison flavours there, sweetish grain, easy to drink, only hints of sourness. The aftertaste is moderate to long, grainy-sweetish, swessionable but not too deep.

Bottle split at ABC Beer The Hague, 24/09/2015. Thanks. A Hazed orange golden coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is grainy malts, grassy earthy hops, rough round the edges. Flavour is composed of semi sweeet, malts, straw, berry, grassy hop, hints of wood. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Middle of the road.
