Description
It was in 1991 that three brewers founded the Brasserie O'neil, the first micro-brewery in Paris. Drawn from the guard tank directly into your glass, the Brasserie O'neil offers you a cold beer without preservatives. From La Blonde to La Brune, including La Blanche, L’Ambrée and the delicious Red Fruits, all our beers are brewed on site.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear amber colour. Small creamy head. The flavour is malty with a hint of grain in the finish. There seems to be a hint of fish as well, not really smoked, but somehow mackerelly.

Draught at the brewpub. Weak but OK grassy hop aroma. Clear yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is quite hoppy, has a lot of grassy hop flavour, so much that it gets a little citric. Refreshing with a hoppy French beer.

Draught at the brewpub
Black color with red shades; creamy head. It can be compared to the Ambrée, as it’s quite ordinary; this one has a character more on the chocolate malt than the caramel; luckily this one as well has some residual sweetness (appreciated); the hop is delicate and quite hidden, but not bad; at the end it has a very light aftertaste of cereals; and it’s not lightly spoiled as the Ambrée. Pleasant.

Draught at the brewpub
Hazy red-amber color; creamy head. It has a good body, and enough residual sugar, it has also some caramel flavor, but for the rest is quite ordinary. Today, I think it’s a bit old, it shows some strange (light) sign of age.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5

Draught at the brewpub
Clean blond color; creamy head; nice lace. It has a delicate, grassy aroma, of malt and light citrusy hop, almost manure, as some English Golden Ale. Medium body structure, with a clean malty flavor (light but a bit crispy), and a reasonable bitterness (it would be better with a more aromatic hop). Quite good.

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy light blond color; creamy head. The aroma is spicy and citrusy, delicate. The mouthfeel is dry, with a light crispy malt flavor, and a delicate spicy and citrusy touch; it ends with an average bitterness, or maybe a bit too much for a Witbier. Because of the light crispy malt, I consider it above the average.
