Tap at the brewpub, October 2011. Opaque orange color. Very light yeast in the aroma. A little sour. Wheat in the flavor, but it lacks clove, citrus, or other qualities common to a wheat beer. Fine palate on this one anyway.

Tap at the brewpub, October 2011. A dark brown beer. Like the others, this beer has a prominent grain flavor and aroma, but unlike the others, this also has malt character. Moderately roasted with cereal flavor. Dry finish. I assume this is a special release, as it is not listed on the O’Neil website.

On tap at O’Neil Brew Pub, Paris on 20th November 2011. Hazy gold with white head decaying to ring-and-film. Yeasty aroma then sharply citric in-mouth. Touches of smoke and just a slight fishy note - mackerel. Smoky line lingers into a short but smoky quasi-savoury finish. Light mouthfeel and a medium body to the weißbier. I liked it for its quirkiness.

On tap, at O’Neil Brew Pub, Paris on 20th November 2011. Deep amber with white head and very little lace. Sweet, malty aroma. Light bodied liquid is bittersweet in-mouth; grassy hop and some rear-mouth bitterness leads to a mostly bitter finish on a zingy mouthfeel.

On tap at Brasserie O’Neil - brew pub, Paris on 20th November 2011. Deep brown with pale brown head that decays to a ring-and-film. Rich, sweet aroma - Christmas pudding/fruitcake. Rich berries, citrus and biscuit malts in-mouth, with lemon zest becoming salient and tingling on the tongue. Stilton note. Brief spicy burst before a sweet fruity finish ensues. Body relatively light.
