Bottled 500ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Clear darker golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, herbs and butter in the nose. Grainy, light DMS, pretty strong herbal and sharp bitter finish. Not good.

Tried it on tap an bottled, courtesy of Sandi - of course! :). Clear golden body, white head. Classic flowery-herbal soft aroma, aurora in a good shape (HopSi!).Herbal-hoppy driven dry taste, with a light malty background and just a tad of bitterness too. On tap, it was awesome, in bottle, older/other batch? I can see where kovica's coming from, but fresh, in this shape, this is one of the best lagers in the country! Almost a 3.5! Pretty much no faults. Sessionable, and I hope it makes it in this shape in form to places other than Požega.

Bottle at Beer & Snacks Point. Dark cola body, off white head, creamy, small. Full aroma, caramelly, bread crust, sweetish. Similar taste, drinkable, full, bread crust again, rye bread perhaps, light caramel, crackers, good balance in the body really, sweetish, full, and dry enough to ensure drinkablility. Not your classic stout, but very much a solid dark beer. Light bitterish, finish, fresh. Not a bad job, Sandi!

0.5 l bottle from a local store, Konzum I think. Hazy dark golden, small off-white head. Malts, fruity, cardboard. Some grassy notes. A bit messy, but not bad. Hops present, balanced. Dry. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate lasting thin dry finish. Expected worse.

4.5% alk.

Aug. ’16. A 0.5 l fliptop bottle from BeerYard festival the day before, shared with Marko. It poured a hazy ocher body with a big head. Light banana and bubblegum with herbal hops in aroma. Flavor was promising just like the aroma at first, with fine sweetish estery notes but almost immediately stale sour yeast and something that went medicinal took over. Everything further is not any differently, nothing worth elaborating. I’m aware the brewers weren’t satisfied at all and I see why, so I’m looking forward a new batch, ticking it for a rerate now. Nose saved the score.

On tap at Beeryard, Zagreb. Pours murky yellow, white head. Malty, some fruit, yeasty, maybe a bit sourish. Medium bodied.
