50 ml sample bottle from my wife, which she purchased for me in Ireland and brought home. The pour is still, clear golden, with nice legs. The aroma is medicinal honey sweet, nice floral behind that. The taste is sweet floral honey, the herbal medicinal comes through in the finish. The palate is medium to thick bodied, coats the mouth, than clears with some alcohol heat. I don’t know anything about mead, and this was pleasant enough. Thank you my dear.

Dark honey aroma laced with butter, ginger, and rose hips. Pous like bourbon both in color and viscosity. The flavors are of dark honey and apricots. Fabulous ethereal mouthfeel, as if it evaporates somewhere between the lips and throat. In a word, Awesome!

(Bottled). Clear amber color, no head. Aroma of burned plastic and sweet honey. Dryish honey flavor, kind of watery body. Herbal citrusy finish. Dry aftertaste. Hides alcohol quite well, but a bit too thin overall.

Bottled (thanks Papsoe). Deep ambery golden colour, no head. Aroma is medicinal, honeyish and also some mild sweet white winelike notes. Flavour is very much the same, except that the medicinal notes are not that strong.

Bottled. An amber mead. The aroma is sweet alcoholic with light notes of spices. The flavor is sweet with strong spicy notes on a medium honey back ground, leading to a dry spicy finish. Mead is made better where it was invented 700 years before they claim to have invented it in Ireland. Thanks Kim for sharing.
