Bottle: Poured clear yellow with a bubble. Aroma is sweet honey. Taste is fruit with wine.

Bottle shared at a tasting, clear deep yellow color, aroma of honey, honeycomb ,and some fruit, sweet and mellow honey flavor with hints of nuts and alcohol. Nice.

First mead rating, chilled from refrigerator. amber coloured, aroma is sweet/honey some flowers. Taste is honey, flowers, some alcohol. Nice one

Refrigerated 75 cl bottle poured into a glass. Clear copper, no carbonation, no head, and no lacing. Aroma is sweet honey some herbs, medium body, and slightly syrupy texture. Taste is honey, herbs, and hints of alcohol. Alcohol is pretty well covered, pretty good mead.

750 ml bottle. Bunratty! Ha. County Clare has loads of charm. Pours a clear amber color with some shades of darker colors, some sticky legs. Sweet floral notes. The flavor grew on me as it inebriates quickly: toffee, huge flowers and herbal flavor, some sticky sweet honey. Dandelions. Fairly drinkable despite being quite hot with heat and alcohol present. I can’t remember where they drove me. I was forced into this. Loaded up the night before & thrown in the back of a car headed north. Woke up, & I’m dressed as a gay pirate. My chest hairs exposed, I was feeling quite vulnerable.

Served at the Renaissance Fair in a proper period clear plastic cup.
Pours a vibrant, rich amber brown color. Still.
Smells of honey & glue. Whiskey, with a bit of stale potpourri.
Taste was surprisingly decent. Solid enough to do shots of anyway. Lush citrus honey & caramel. Wood & big white wine acidity. Just bitter enough to cover. Nothing obviously herbal in this batch.
Syrupy, maybe even buttery, but not all that thick. Dangerously quiet alcohol.
$14 for a smoked turkey leg? F that! I wonder how they made funnel cakes in the 15th century...

Tiny bottle from the Bunratty Castle souvenir shop. This Mead pours a crystal clear honey color with no head and some legs. Floral and honey notes on the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of honey, spice and a bit of vinous oak. The finish is sweet with a lingering floral honey aftertaste. Decent overall, had I known I would have gotten a non-tiny bottle.

Light amber color. Strong honey aroma, too evident. Sweet honey flavor, too honeyish to be the best, with good maturation level. Quite good in the end.
