Notater fra RBHD-samling hos Johan, og alt delt broderlig mellom oss tre. 0,33 boks fra Egils importkoffert: uklar gylden med svært kort skum. Appelsiner, mango, marmelade, lactose. Søt avslutning, minner for mye om appelsinbrus og tilsvarende leskedrikker vi likte godt som barn.

Dark amber to bright mahogany colour, creamy ecru-ish-beige-ish lacing; aroma of dried sour cherry, figs, raisins soaked into liqueur, sugar syrupy, some vanilla, peaty and dark chocolate mousse notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with more intensive peats, some (candied) orange peels, maple syrupy and woody notes; excellent one!

0.33l bottle. Clear amber body with a thin pearl head. Very sweet aroma of molasses, dates, figs and candi sugar. It also shows some notes from the barrel aging like peat, oak and vanilla. The taste has some orange zest, dates and figs to it like most quadrupels, but these notes are overtaken by the molasses, peat, oak and some floral hops. Sweet in the mouth, but the aftertaste is more about the oak with some maple syrup. Not quite there as the oak aged Trappists, but really good.

0.33l can. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma and taste of bready malts, hay, grains and some floral hops. Nice clean helles. Good example of the style.

Bottle from the brewery shop. Very dark brown color with small beige head. Almost no carbo. Oily consitence. Aroma of roasted malt, marzipan, bourbon, vanilla, nuts, milk chocolate. Taste is very intense with milk chocolate, lactose, nuts, vanilla, nougat, light roasty notes, bourbon. Could be less sweet for being perfect, but hey, this is imperial milk stout. Very nice.

Hazy brownish copper colour, minimal off-white lacing; aroma and taste of sour cherry juice, vinegar, some acetone, orange peel oils, woody and lemony notes; really good one! Many thanks for sharing, Kapusil!

0.5l bottle. Hazy bronze body with a white head. Aroma and taste of vinegar, acerone, sour cherry, burnt sugar, lemon juice, raisins, wood and some tangerine. Nice sour beer.

0.33 can. Igényes címke mögött egy elég világos IPA, szép fehér, de nem túl nagy habbal. Illata finom: gyümölcsös, őszi barackos, narancsos, friss, finom és elég erőteljes is. Eddig inkább egy APA-ra emlékeztet. Első kortyra nem elég keserű egy átlagos IPA-hoz mérve, viszont a menta frissessége azonnal érződik. Jó citrusos, komlós, picit testetlen, de azért nem vészes. Nekem ez egy elég finom APA, de jó, legyen IPA, végül is erősen birizgàlták a komlók a nyelvem végig. És igen, keserű utóíze is volt. Amúgy pedig egy finom és jó sör.
