Bottle shared at work, courtesy of the HT crew. Pours reddish copper with no head. Nose is sweet notes of alcohol, caramel, malts and slightly acidic and tart raspberry. Taste is also a mix of sweet and tart, sweetness deriving from the booze, bready and nutty malts and the raspberry provides a pleasantly tart and acidic balance. Nicely balanced, the body is big enough and the carbonation is soft. Well made.

Straight out the can. Meglepoen keves porkolt malatas karakter jon, egy laza malatasabb becsi inkabb vakon. Picit femes a korty vege, amugy rendben van.

Tap at BPBW, session one. Beautiful, intense barrel character dominate both the aroma and taste, the maple is very out there and it works nicely, bourbon’s coming through too. The body is a bit thin, but the barrels do make me forget about it.

Tap at BPBW, session one. Az egyes szamu verziohoz hasonloan a test itt is hagy nemi kivannivalot maga utan, raadasul azzal szemben itt meg a hordozas sem bomba annyira, hogy karpotoljon csereben. Mindenesetre igeretes probalkozas ez is.

Tap at the Hori taproom a while back. Nem keszitettem jegyzeteket, csak pontoztam a sort.

Bottle shared at home, couetesy of the HT crew perhaps? Cellared this for a year. Pours jet black with no head. Nose is chocolate, whiskey notes, some vanilla, booze. Taste is sweet, lactosey (or so I thought, but apparently there’s none in this?), boozy. It’s got chocolate, nuts, whiskey and molasses going on. It’s on the sweet side, not very layered. Medium to big bodied with barely any carbonation. Tasty, but rather one dimensional.

Can shared at home, probably courtesy of the HT crew. Elkepesztoen suru(nek hat), de inkabb szirupos mint testes, a karbonacio literalisan 0, izkomplexitas szinten ehhez konvergal, nagyon nehez inni.

Bottled. Pours deep, hazy golden with everlasting white head. Apart from the usual witbier aroma it has some grassy overtone with additional herbs and slightly some hops also appear. The taste is just like the aroma with the witbier notes, hops and grass/herbs. Short bitter finish, lively carbonation, light body. Interesting conception with the beer being somewhere between witbier and wheat ale, but works for me.

Bottled. Pours black with beige head that disappears quickly. Coffe and roasted malts dominate in aroma and taste, with some slight hoppy bitter and bread/biscuits notes. The creamy mouthfeel is quite pleasant and combined with the soft carbonation and light body, make it easily drinkable. Speaking of the light body, it’s a bit too light, could be more full-bodied because this way it feels slightly watery. Not bad, but there’s room for improvement.

On tap. It has the usual fruity-flowery notes in taste but somehow not coherent enough. Moreover, it has a slight, barely noteable aroma. Painfully mediocre.
