On tap at Avenue Pub. Pours a hazy ruby orange with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is plum skin, stone fruit, earth. Slick body, plum, grape, stone fruit, nice tartness, very good.

From a 330ml can on 21/10/2021. Pours a cloudy medium golden with a smallish head. Has a powerful and quite lovely mango nose. No surprise that it's nearly all mango taste wise, though the modest sweetness is overcome by an assertive tangy, spicy bitterness which ends up being just a touch too much. Has a slightly creamy mouthfeel with average carbonation. Actually not too far away from being rather good but just a bit lacking in balance for mine.

I got this on sale awhile ago and knew I just had to pair it with some apple pie! Moon Dog In The Crumble the Mighty Crumble Apple Crumble Desser Sour Ale 5.8% Deep Rudy amber with virtually no head and this medium bodied brew has floaters (from the apple purée?) so it’s not the most attractive looking brew especially up close. It starts with sour apple and is tart then gives you sweet apple pie crust notes. It finished quite dry, that dryness cuts through my apple pie’s sweetness and accentuates the sweet crust. A fun pairing.

From a 375ml bottle on 10/10/2021. Pours super deep brown with pretty much no head. Has a cherry chocolate cake nose. Tastes like a cherry ripe soaked in rum. Don't get any coconut though. The mouthfeel is syrupy and the carbonation moderate. A really well made, nicely balanced big sipper, but not so good that I'd revisit at 30 bucks a bottle.
